Our philosophy:
We really love what we do and we want to share it! We provide a friendly, familial atmosphere with the focus on developing our students’ self esteem through success in the classroom; that’s a fancy way of saying we’re having fun while we teach and learn!
Our mission:
We are a non-competitive studio dedicated to teaching the art of dance for the purpose of physical and emotional and mental development, self-esteem and confidence building and the sheer joy of movement to music. We offer many opportunities to share our joy of dance through seasonal tours, special events and our annual recitals.
Our facility:
- Four spacious dance rooms all with floating wood floors for the safety and comfort of our faculty and dancers
- A student changing room/lounge (a great place for eating, studying, and socializing!)
- Three lobbies
- A front office/apparel shop
Additional services:
We offer a line of apparel available for purchase including:
- Dance shoes (we’ll custom fit your dancer for tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop)
- Leotards, tights, ballet skirts, dance undergarments
- Logo-branded T-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, pants, visors, and capris
- Birthday Parties for girls and boys of all ages
- Summer ballet, pointe, tap & jazz classes for experienced dancers ages 10+
- Adult dance & fitness classes all year long
Community outreach:
We believe in encouraging our students to get involved in the community-at-large and to use their talents to help enrich the lives of others. We offer a variety of opportunities including tours, special events, and charitable causes.
Our history:
We opened our doors in 1988 in a two-room studio in Walled Lake. In the fall of 1992, we moved to Cady Street in downtown Northville where we happily spent 10 years. As our programs expanded and our student body grew, our need for more space prompted us to relocate in 2002 to our current (much larger) studio on West Seven Mile Road. The 2011-2012 season marks our 23rd Anniversary.

Dress Like a Dancer! OUR DRESS CODE WILL BE ENFORCED. Please see the handbook for dress code details. NOTE: Ballet dancers WILL be allowed to wear ballet sweaters during colder months. See our new stock in the office, they make great christmas gifts!
Zumba For Kids! Classes for kids ages 4-12. The fee per class is $5. Every 5th class is free. Kids get a Zumba KidCard to punch each week. Look for more days and times on the Classes & Camps page.
Cold and Flu Season is already upon us! Please protect both your dancer and his/her dancemates by not sending them to dance class with a fever or other indications that they are contagious. Make up classes for missed days are available at all levels. Contact the front desk for more information.
