Ballet Company

Ballet Company productions are suspended for the 2009-2010 season. Inquiries for the 2010-2011 season should be directed to csdc5678@sbcglobal.net, attention Erin Goldsworthy.

Any dancer, aged 8+, currently enrolled in a ballet technique class at our studio is eligible to join the company. Clinics and auditions for primary roles are held in August.  All members dance in the chorus--Be part of a great experience!

We perform a fairy tale ballet each year, fully staged and costumed.

A monthly fee of $75 includes a $17 assessment that goes into the ballet company's operating fund. Additional monies are fund-raised through poinsettia sales, bake sales, “bowling with ballerinas,” ticket sales and program advertising sales, all coordinated and run by the parents and dancers.

A one-time payment of $160, due in September, includes 20 tickets for resale at $8 each for our performance in the spring. This is mandatory for any dancer choosing to participate in our Ballet Company.

Saturday rehearsals: September through April 1:30 - 4:00 pm, Friday rehearsals TBD.

As needed rehearsals: March/April usually on Fridays for soloists & small groups

• Regular attendance is mandatory. Dancers are in multiple pieces, scenes, and costumes and must learn dialogue segues, entrances and exits, and much more.

• Any dancer exceeding three (3) absences will be at risk for being dismissed from the company.
