Update 7/23/22

As of July 23, 2022, COVID infections are considered LOW in Oakland County. We continue to monitor the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the Wayne County Health Department. At this time, masking is optional.

If it becomes necessary to return to mandatory masking to maintain the safety of our student body, we will comply with the local, state, and national public health responses to the surge.

Other practices that have been implemented will not change including the following:

In-Person and Virtual Options Available

  • We will assume your dancer is participating In-Person unless you tell us otherwise.
  • Virtual attendance via Zoom remains available for all classes.
  • While Virtual students are welcome to take classes, they are not eligible to participate at In-Person events including: the Holiday Festival of Trees show and tour, the Spring Dance Education Show, and the June Showcases.
  • In-Person students may attend Virtually if they are unable to get to the studio. This option should only be used when necessary and appropriate. Extended in-person absences will result in the reclassification of a student’s status from In-Person to Virtual. Virtual students are not eligible to participate at In-Person events.

Safety Protocols

  • Physical distancing will be enforced where practical and possible.
  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols will be maintained.
  • All drop off and pick up (REAR DOOR ONLY) procedures will continue as before with only dancers allowed in the building.
  • Parents and siblings must remain outside. Limited access to the building for non-dancers includes use of the restrooms, purchasing of shoes and other dance supplies, and previously scheduled office visits.

COVID Exposure Rules

  • Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 can return to dance in person after the 5th day if there are no worsening symptoms. Students may return on the 6th day, but must mask through Day 10.
  • Individuals reported as a household close contact or health department-identified close contact to a positive case may attend in person but must mask through the 10th day post close contact.

Dress Code & Apparel

  • Dress Code: is listed on the website: See Dress Code in dropdowns on Preschool, Traditional Classes and Training Classes pages.
  • Shoe requirements for class are the same and are listed with Dress Codes.
  • Shoe fittings/sales will be available by appointment on Mondays & Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm
  • Hair should be pulled back per the dress code

Thank you, everyone, for your continued support and respect.

With gratitude,
Lisa and Erin
